Program Goal

  • To help develop a thirst for knowledge that provides the basics for future learning.
  • To encourage respect for others, equipment and personal property.
  • To provide opportunities for the development of the whole body through motor skills.
  • To introduce the curriculum areas of art, science, math, dramatic play, manipulative activities, language, and music.
  • To allow the child to find and use acceptable outlets for emotions.
  • To encourage parent involvement by using tactful and honest communication while handling matters discretely.
  • To Provide quality care, keeping an atmosphere conducive for learning.
  • To give each child personal attention (keeping the staff/child ratio set by DCFS) preventing under or over stimulation while allowing freedom of choice.
  • To stimulate language development through hearing and speaking.
  • To encourage independence and intelligence by welcoming questions and explorations of the environment.
